San Diego and D C EXC CORP. and its Officers, Agents… from any injury responsibility.1. Forfeit Rule: Game time is forfeit time! 8 players must be present to be an official game. If
requirement is not met, the game will be a forfeit win for the opponent with a score of 7-0, after a
five-minute grace waiting period. If a forfeit is declared, both teams can pick up league players
and play a game 10-on-10 with umpire.
2. Games are seven innings or 1 hour 15 minutes time limit. No new inning after 65 minutes. Games can end in a tie.
3. For safety purposes, only plastic or rubber cleats are allowed.
4. No maximum height for a pitch, with a minimum of the ball arching over the batter’s head.
5. A strike is any legal pitch, which either touches the plate or the carpet. The batter is out on the
first foul after the second strike.
6. No base stealing. A base runner may leave a base when the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand. If
the runner leaves beforehand, he will be declared out. A catcher may make a force out on a base
runner. No tag is needed. Overthrows are live and the runners may advance.
7. No bunting, chop hits or throwing bats. Penalty: batter is out.
8. Runners may slide, but must avoid a collision. Penalty, runner is out and no other runners
advance and possible ejection from game. (Umpire’s decision.)
9. The batter will have a 1 strike count upon entering the batter’s box, to start his at bat.
10. Courtesy Runners: After a batter reaches base safely, a substitute runner can be used for any
individual who has an injury or is physically impaired. The players who require a Courtesy Runner
must be identified to the Umpire before the game starts. Courtesy Runners are always the
players who made the last out.

12. Injury Rule: If a player leaves the game, the line-up will be pushed down and no out will be

result in ejection!

18. If any team has eight or nine rostered players at game time, the opposing team must provide
a courtesy catcher. The catcher’s only responsibility is to return the ball back to the pitcher. The
catcher will play until team players arrive or play the entire game. The team with 8 players can
select one rostered league player from the bleachers to complete their team. The team with 9
can not. If both managers agree, however, any team may pick up 1 or 2 rostered-league players to play 10 on 10. When team players arrive, the replacement player(s) must leave the game.
19. The strike mat and home plate are considered the same with any play at home base.
20. Umpires not showing up: You, as a team manager and your team is responsible for officiating the game and calling in the scores.
